Baked Apple Baby!

 
OK!  Seriously?  It's not really baked but it tastes just like it!!! Indulge.  Seriously.
 
Baked Apple Smoothie
 
  • 1/4 cup low-fat plain OR vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 large apple, peeled, cored and sliced (I use granny smith)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/3 cup water
  • Large handful spinach
  • Sweetener or honey to taste (I used 1 tsp honey)

    I'm going to include another recipe today because despite being a long weekend here in Montreal, I have to work!  Not complaining, believe me!  Love, love, love what I do!  I just may not be back tomorrow :-)
     
    So try this...
     
    Blueberry Orange Goodness
     
    1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
    1 cup frozen blueberries
    1 frozen or fresh banana
    Ice, as needed

    This one is great for the kids in the morning and packs a real nutritional punch!  Guaranteed to go over well with the whole family!
